Coaches:

Drew Pariano – Northwestern University Head Coach
A former Northwestern wrestler, Drew Pariano officially assumed his role as Northwestern head coach on June 1, 2010, after five successful seasons as an assistant and associate head coach for the resurgent Wildcats. Pariano, the 2008 NWCA Division I Assistant Coach of the Year, has been a driving force in Northwestern regaining its place as one of the top programs in the country, coaching 28 NCAA qualifiers, 14 All-Americans, six Big Ten champions and three NCAA champions — including Hodge Trophy winner and two-time U.S. Open champion and World Team member Jake Herbert — in his time on NU’s staff. Tim Cysewski – Northwestern University Associate Head Coach
For 20 years, Tim Cysewski oversaw a Northwestern wrestling program that produced four individual NCAA champions, 27 All-Americans, 12 Big Ten champions and 88 qualifiers for the NCAA Championships. From 2005-09, Cysewski enjoyed what was undeniably his most successful stretch as head coach at NU, guiding the Wildcats to five consecutive top-15 national finishes as a team — tying a program-best with its fourth-place NCAA showing in 2007 — and winning individual NCAA titles in 2007, 2008 and 2009, making Northwestern the only school in the country to have at least one national champion each of those successive seasons. Brandon Precin – Wildcat Wrestling Club Development Director
Brandon Precin, the most recent addition to the coaching staff, was one of five three-time All-Americans in NU history. Precin was a Midlands Champion in 2008 & 2010, two-time Big Ten Finalist, and was a member of the 2007 Northwestern team which took 4th in the NCAA Championships. After four trips to the national meet, Precin will now focus on his international wrestling career. Brandon Precin was a Carl Sandburg HS product where he won two state championships for Coach Mike Polz.
